A Dignified Retirement for Equine Heroes. Thank you for visiting our official Shopify store. Long Away Acres Equine Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit built on a simple, vital promise: to provide a dignified, lifelong retirement for retired therapy horses. The "Heartbreaking Choice" When a therapy horse's service ends, their centers often face a heartbreaking choice: use limited funds to care for retired heroes, or use those same resources to continue healing people.
